Capacity building is one of the thrust areas of North East Diocesan Social Service Society (NEDSSS). It provides handholding support to partner organisations to become more effective, accountable and sustainable.
Some of the key interventions are highlighted below:
- Developing various organizational policies
Supporting partners in building important internal policies tailored to their needs, such as:
- Procurement Policy – guidelines for purchasing goods/services transparently and efficiently.
- Safeguarding Policy – rules and procedures to ensure the safety and protection of children, vulnerable adults, staff, and communities—especially to prevent abuse, exploitation, or harm.
- Resource Mobilization Policy – strategies for raising funds and securing resources sustainably.
- POSH Policy (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) – ensures a safe workplace and addresses harassment issues.
