Livelihood

NEDSSS has been actively promoting sustainable livelihood activities with the aim of improving household income, reducing poverty and empowering economically vulnerable families. The organization recognizes that economic insecurity is one of the major reasons behind issues such as school dropouts, migration, trafficking and poor living conditions. Therefore, NEDSSS integrates livelihood promotion with community development initiatives to help families become self-reliant and resilient.

Over the years, NEDSSS has implemented various livelihood programs focusing on skill development, income generation, women empowerment and sustainable agricultural practices. Special attention has been given to women, youth and economically weaker households to enhance their capacities and create alternative sources of income.
